To promote the development of 3D archery as a sport

2. IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVES OF THE TOURNAMENT

To develop the skills of the athletes; bring together 3D archers, preparing them for Russian and international 3D archery competitions; to promote archery amongst general public; to develop understanding of the need to care for the environment amongst general public.

5. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY

The Grand Prix is open to the competitors who have agreed to follow the GRAND PRIX RULES, who have been given the health and safety instructions, and who have signed the scoring card, which also is an agreement of the athlete to take personal responsibility for their health and safety whilst out on the course.

6. PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

The tournament is organised subdivided into bow classes and divisions in accordance with the international 3D archery rules. Two rounds, 24 targets each, finals.

The winner of the Grand Prix is considered to be an athlete, who has the most points in two rounds, taking into account the coefficients. The results are determined by considering the following coefficients of the increase:

If a bow class or division has less than four entries, then the group is not formed and the contestants join up the style/ class / division group but their results are assessed by their coefficients. E.g. Female contestants will join the male group and will be assessed against female coefficients.

7. BUDGET AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Eurasia Archery Association sponsors the preparation and organisation of Grand Prix. The budget comprises the entry fees and funds of the Association.

The entry fee is 2,500 roubles. The fees need to be received by the Grand Prix secretary.

Whith more then fifty participants, the main prize of the tournament (Grand Prix) is 30,000 rubles. The prize for the second place is 15,000 rubles. The prize for the third place is 5000 rubles.

Every ten participants over fifty will increase the prize pool in proportion to the total. With 60 participants prizes will be 36,000, 18,000 and 6,000 rubles respectively, with 70 - 42,000, 21,000 and 7,000 rubles respectively, etc.
